With a wide range of guided tours and visits to the most emblematic museums during the summer, Moreno becomes a cultural epicenter for residents and tourists.

Those interested can immerse themselves in history, art and local identity through spaces dedicated to preserving the region’s heritage.

One of the must-see spots is the “Amancio Alcorta Museum and Historical Archive,” located at Coleta Palacios 1992, Moreno Centro. This place offers a tour of the city’s origins, its development and key moments in its history. It opens its doors from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For those who wish to learn more about the Malvinas feat, you can visit the “Museo Islas Malvinas e Islas del Atlántico Sur” (Malvinas Islands and South Atlantic Islands Museum), on Justo Daract and Arribeños, Paso del Rey. A space dedicated to paying tribute to the heroes and veterans of the country.

It operates from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on weekends from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. In addition, every Saturday it offers the activity Atardecer en el Malvinas (Sunset in the Malvinas), a special proposal that includes guided tours and live shows.

Art also has its place in the “Museo Molina Campos”, located at Molina Campos 364, Moreno Centro. There are more than 100 works by the iconic Argentine painter, known for his representations of Creole life. It can be visited on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 3 to 8 pm.

On the other hand, music lovers can enjoy the “Museo del Bandoneón Mariani”, which is located at Mariani 140, La Reja, declared City of the Bandoneón.

A space dedicated to spreading the work and heritage of the Mariani family. Visits require a prior reservation by calling 1138265210 or by email at: museomariani1@gmail.com.

This cultural proposal of the Municipality promotes access to history, art and collective memory as well as being an enriching alternative to enjoy in summer.
