Juan Paulenko always brings the latest news from the Province of Buenos Aires. He spoke on “Don’t Fall Asleep,” a program broadcast on Radio Hexa, covering some important topics and other information worth keeping in mind, such as news about entrepreneurs and public works, among others.
Giuliana Salmonte Siciliano
The columnist began with some very hard information about the upcoming legislative elections, which will be held on October 26 of this year. First, he mentioned that there is general concern in the City of Buenos Aires regarding the fact that the current mayor, Jorge Macri, knows there is a split in the votes in the Federal Capital, and the reality is that whoever manages to win the city’s parliamentary elections with 34 or 35 percent of the vote will claim the title of winner.
He also analyzed the position of the potential candidates for those spots: “Santoro is doing very well; he’s in second place to challenge for first place. The capital’s Radical Party is going to make the difference because the other candidate who appeared and is likely to compete and have more than 15 points is Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. He’s going to take those votes away from Jorge Macri, in other words, he’s going to divide the vote.”
On the other hand, he named several other candidates, such as Paula Oliveto, who is on par with Elisa “Lilita” Carrió, and Miriam Bregman with the Left Party. However, Paulenko expressed doubt about the final result, as he has some information about a close relationship between Larreta and the Radical Party. Likewise, there are negotiations underway for the Pro Party to finance Ramiro Marra’s campaign to attract votes from the Libertarians.
“Jorge Macri’s name for that bid would be Clara Muzzio as option one, the Minister of Health as option two, and they haven’t ruled out María Eugenia Vidal as option three. Mauricio Macri would be the candidate for National Senator, and within the Libertarian Party, Patricia Bullrich is being considered as a candidate for National Senator, if some protests that jeopardize her future don’t flare up,” stated Juan Paulenko.
Public Works on the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway
Governor Axel Kicillof is promoting a series of improvements, using funds from the provincial budget to repave 40 kilometers of the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway. This was announced by the Minister of Public Works and Services.
Among the planned improvements are work on the section connecting Hudson with the city of La Plata, the construction of a fourth lane, and improvements to the Southeast Access Road. These works seek to optimize traffic and ensure that the highway meets adequate standards. “The reality is that if they’re charging you a toll, the highways have to be in good condition,” the columnist stated.
Will Nacha Guevara return to the political arena with a candidacy?
Juan Paulenko posed that question when he began talking about the members of the Merlo Entrepreneurs Network kicking off a key meeting for the sector. This group, dedicated to providing advice and support to entrepreneurs, included prominent figures such as Mayor Gustavo Menéndez and National Representative Roxana Monzón.
However, one of the most striking moments of the event was Nacha Guevara’s presence, which sparked speculation about a possible return to politics. It’s worth remembering that she was once active in politics, even appearing on the nominee lists promoted by Néstor Kirchner.
Tres de Febrero Municipal Motorcycle School
The columnist’s latest news was the opening of the first motorcycle school in the Province of Buenos Aires. He recommended that anyone who wants to buy their first motorcycle first go ride at the school, as they will lend you the vehicle to practice and then take the test.
It’s located at 4200 Urquiza Street, Tres de Febrero District, and consists of two-hour classes with both theory and practical modules. It’s free and teaches you the basics of riding a motorcycle. It also prepares you well for taking the test and obtaining a motorcycle category license.
