The motorcycle thieves shot the man from behind and the woman fell from the moving vehicle, leaving her paralyzed: “She did not move because of fear.”
A new and violent episode of insecurity occurred this weekend in the town of Villa Luzuriaga, northeast of the La Matanza district: a gang of motorcycle thieves approached and shot a couple in the back to steal their motorcycle and almost killed them.
The crime took place on Venezuela Street at 4,500, between Alicante and Chanaut, a few blocks from the Children’s Hospital in the city of San Justo, in the Parque Peluffo neighborhood at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, and was recorded by a private surveillance camera.
The images show how the victims were surprised and forced to turn around with a risky maneuver, which caused the woman to fall on a broken sidewalk without the man noticing. Meanwhile, one of the criminals took out his firearm and fired several shots at the driver.
That situation and what happened to the girl made her leave the vehicle a few meters away so that the thieves could take it and assist her girlfriend. The residents also came out to help her and one of them said that “she did not move because of the fear” that the situation had generated in her.
