It will be the first public hospital in La Matanza dedicated exclusively to animals and at this moment part of its façade can already be seen.
In the middle of last year, the Health and Public Works departments of the Municipality of La Matanza formally announced the beginning of the construction of the future Veterinary Hospital in the town of Gregorio de Laferrere, south of the District, whose start was exclusively revealed by Viví el Oeste a few days ago.
After six months of that start, you can already see what part of the façade of the future public hospital dedicated exclusively to animals will look like, the first in the history of the district with these characteristics and one highly requested by civil society in general.
For example, the first formal advances were made in 2017 by the councilors of the Republican Proposal (PRO) and in 2023 the councilor Mirta Redes presented the last draft ordinance in the Legislative Palace before it is finalized in 2024.
