Moreno. The Municipality launched an EcoTourism project, a proposal that seeks to revalue the spaces and experiences linked to the circular economy in the district.
Through planned tours, visitors will be able to learn about local initiatives that combine sustainable development, environmental care and tourism promotion.
This program, aimed at the general public, aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and the protection of natural resources.
In this sense, it offers two weekly tours, which require prior registration at the following email: ecoturismo.moreno@gmail.com.
What do they consist of?
Meanwhile, on Tuesdays, the circuit allows visitors to learn about local environmental stations, Plaza Dr. Buján and the “Guardianes de la Ribera” operators on Av. Ribera. It also includes a visit to the “La Porteña” Recycling Plant and ends at the Los Robles Nature Reserve.
On Wednesdays, the tour begins at the La Reja Environmental Station, with a visit to megafauna sculptures and works by Luis “Coco” Mariani, among other artists.
Then, it continues in the memory forest of Plaza Favaloro, where reforestation and conservation initiatives are presented, and concludes at the “Coastal Walk” of Lake San Francisco, with the guidance of park rangers.
In this way, the local Government reinforces its environmental commitment with a comprehensive vision based on reuse, recycling and responsible and sustainable production. Interested people can consult @ambiente.moreno.
