Ramos Mejía. Two parents and their four children were left at the mercy of a violent gang of thieves who threatened to shoot them so they would give them their truck.
A new and violent episode of insecurity occurred this weekend in the town of Ramos Mejía, north of the La Matanza district: an entire family was targeted by a gang of heavily armed criminals who tried to steal their truck when they were preparing to leave their house.
The crime took place on Formosa street at 2,600, between Tomás Justo Villegas and Manuel Artigas and a few meters from the Plaza del Cañón, in the Don Bosco neighborhood at around 8:18 p.m. this Saturday, February 22, and was recorded by a private surveillance camera.
The images show how the father was about to start his vehicle when suddenly a total of three thieves appeared and, at gunpoint, demanded that he get out and hand over the keys at the same time as they went to intimidate his wife and four children.
That is why they all got out immediately with the man and the mother standing in front of their children to protect them from the guns and went into the house of some neighbors. Fortunately, everyone came out unharmed and the criminals were unable to start the vehicle.
