The Police also seized several motorcycles and altered engine numbers, while two of those arrested already had an arrest warrant.
The staff of the First, Second, Fourth and Seventh police stations of the Buenos Aires Police in the district of Morón carried out last Friday, February 7, a large anti-motorcycle operation in the main towns and Haedo and Castelar that culminated with the arrest of 11 people.
The functional instruction units (UFI) number 1 and 9 Specialized in Narcotics and Human Trafficking of the local Judicial Department, in charge of prosecutors Javier Ghessi and Ernesto Lovillo, respectively, also participated in the procedure and their objective was to find the whereabouts of different criminals involved in various episodes.
For example, three of them had the same number of motorcycles seized, some of which had their engine and/or frame numbers altered, and one had his driver’s license because it was also false, while two were fugitives from justice and another had a backpack with two yugas, a mace and a knife.
Some of the crimes they are accused of are resistance to authority and injuries, aggravated concealment for profit, drug trafficking and possession and use of false documents. In addition, during the deployment, the officers found two firearms that two suspects discarded while fleeing.
