At the beginning of the interview on No Te Duermas, Facundo Tiganelli spoke about the role of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner: “She gives clear signs that she puts all her will to order and straighten Peronism. Then obviously there is a task for whoever receives the figure of Cristina to also have the will to order and be able to work in unity to be able to face everything that Javier Milei is doing.”
“I think Cristina is showing more than enough that she has the will, she was in Santiago del Estero, she was touring the Province of Buenos Aires, I understand that she will be in the interior of the country this weekend. It seems to me or I get the feeling that there is a program built from going out to call all the Peronists of the country led by Cristina,” he added.
In addition, he stressed that “I think it is giving results because the governor and the president of the party were in Santiago, and the place where she spoke was completely full” and that “the displays of affection and love were overwhelming, the same happened in each sector where she was.”
Mayra Mendoza’s criticisms
On the other hand, in response to the question about the tweet from the mayor of Quilmes in relation to Jorge Ferraresi, mayor of Avellaneda, she said: “Mayra’s publication is not that she criticizes the governor, it shows that a mayor from the same political space that is Peronism, has been traveling around districts of colleagues since December saying everything that is missing in pursuit of a career that is not well known what it is.”
“He was highlighted on countless occasions by the president of the Buenos Aires Justicialist Party as a mayor who has good management but it is not clear what he is doing with that tour that he does in the name, at least in his networks, of the political space that he intends to accumulate behind the governor,” he added.
At the same time, he said that “Mayra says that the provincial government could respond to all these things that the people of Quilmes need, which this mayor proposes” and that “she raises it with the clarity of her role as mayor, it is not that she proposes a difference with respect to the situation but that she makes clear who has the institutional responsibilities.”
The little support of the mayor of La Matanza to Cristina
On the other hand, he emphasized what he considered to be ingratitude: “That goes to the political level, it is not a matter of taste or not, I understand that one has to be grateful. Both in the government of Nestor and Cristina La Matanza did very well and when they were not in the government La Matanza did relatively worse, so if there is a companion with everything she lived through and everything that they are doing to her, and one does not have a gesture of solidarity, it seems to me that it is ingratitude and in politics that is not good.”
“It is a gesture that does not seem right to me. Because Cristina tried to put part of her time and her convictions to solve the problems that we have in the whole of Peronism. And one has to go out to support her and to line up behind her, especially knowing how Cristina works. But well that did not happen and it is already part of the past,” he said.
He then added that “at the very least one has to be grateful and be aware of what the reality is.”
“Obviously all the persecution of Cristina has to do with all the conquests she made in favor of the Argentine people and when you fight with power, power wants to discipline you in some way,” he concluded.
