Emergencies. The Municipality of La Matanza is conducting intensive theoretical and practical training for Urban Guard agents. The goal is to ensure they are well-prepared to assist residents in emergency situations, both in public spaces and private settings.

The course is led by Dr. Martín Javovi Vera, director of the Mobile Hospital Foundation, and Dr. María Eva Pérez.

The training covers CPR, emergency care for gunshot wounds, stab wounds, childbirth in public, and burns, among various other scenarios. The aim is to ensure that agents are thoroughly trained to handle a range of situations when responding on the ground.

At the end of the training, participants must pass both a practical and theoretical exam to obtain the title of Rescuer, issued by the Juan María Gutiérrez Mobile Medical Unit, with endorsements from the Ministry of Justice (IGJ), the Ministry of Health of the Nation, and the Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires.

The training sessions are supervised by the local Secretary of Citizen Protection, Dr. Eduardo Barcat; the Secretary’s Coordinator, Daniel Sobrero; and municipal advisor, Daniel Castro.

This training effort underscores the Municipality of La Matanza’s commitment to ensuring that its Urban Guard is prepared to provide an efficient and professional response to any emergency, thereby enhancing security throughout the community.
