A new attack on a bus driver took place in the Buenos Aires suburbs, this time the incident occurred in the Moreno district when a man began to fight with the bus driver of line 410 who did not let him pass because he did not have a SUBE card and ended up stabbing him.
According to reports, the episode took place on Route 23, at the corner of Lisandro de la Torre, on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., when the aggressor pulled out a knife. On the bus, the passenger also attacked a group of people who challenged him in defense of the drivers, one who was driving the unit and another who was accompanying him.
Faced with the situation, passengers began to record the incident and the videos went viral on social media. In the images, it can be seen that the man attacked the driver, first on top of the unit and then everything moved to the street. At that moment, he stabbed a driver in the arm and had to be treated at the Mariano and Luciano de la Vega Hospital.
The other passengers explained, in conversation with TN, that when they got off the aggressor “started hitting the windshield and tried to break it, that’s when they decided to get off.” One of them said that the passenger asked a woman to pay for the ticket because he didn’t have a SUBE: “She took out the ticket and there was an argument with the driver, I don’t know what happened.”
And he continued: “As he walked to the back of the bus, he said something to him and the driver turned on him and they started to fight. The driver – who was riding as a passenger – grabbed him by the neck against the window, the bus driver stopped the bus and the two of them got him out. The boy quickly crossed in front of the bus and started throwing rocks.” The driver who was riding as a passenger was the one who, according to the passengers, drove the bus to the hospital to get his colleague treated.
