Pablo De Muner is the new coach of Defensa y Justicia
After a date that took down four coaches from the Professional League, this Tuesday the arrival of a new coach to Argentine football was announced: Pablo De Muner took over as the new technical director of Defensa y Justicia, which a few hours ago had put an end to Francisco Meneghini’s cycle.
De Muner, who comes from three experiences abroad, will thus take on his first challenge as a First Division coach in Argentina, where he only had two games as interim, precisely when he worked as coach of the Defense Reserve, a position he held between 2019 and 2021. Del Halcón went to San Martín de Tucumán, where he coached for two seasons in which he fought for promotion but was unable to achieve it.
After leaving Santo, he began a journey through South America that had him first in Chile, where he coached O’Higgins in the first half of 2023, before going to Paraguay to take over Guaraní in the second half of the year. While the first months of this year he was in charge of Melgar of Peru, where he lasted just eight games. Now, he will have his big chance in the elite of Argentine soccer.
