A neighbor got out of his car after leaving it at the door of his house and ran into two hooded men who took it from him at gunpoint.
A new and painful episode of insecurity occurred yesterday morning in the town of Lomas del Mirador, northeast of the La Matanza district: a gang of hooded criminals stole a man’s car seconds after he had parked it in front of the house.
The crime took place on Amancio Alcorta street at 2,300, between Eduardo Costa and Europa and a few meters from the border with the city of Ramos Mejía, at around 7:53 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, and was recorded by a private surveillance camera.
The images show how the victim left his blue Volkswagen Golf on the garage ramp and was suddenly surprised by at least two thieves who, at gunpoint, demanded that he raise his hands and hand over everything he had on hand.
Without putting up any resistance, the neighbor gave one of them the keys to the vehicle, the cell phone and the wallet he had in his pocket and watched as they escaped with the loot towards Avenida Eva Perón and then shared his frustration with his wife and son.
Previously, another neighbor had his vehicle stolen at Charcas 2,700, between General Venancio Flores and Melo and four blocks from Avenida General Paz, while the criminals humiliated him by forcing him to lie down.
