You heard it in No Te Duermas
Pablo Boschi, general secretary of the 62 Peronist organizations of La Matanza, was interviewed in “No Te Duermas” and initially referred to the normalization process of the Organization.
Pablo Boschi. “This normalization process is given by the CGT, we have been clear from the beginning, including in the figure of Heraldo Cayuqueo, general secretary of the CGT regional of La Matanza,” he said.
“It was a normalization process that we were doing, the unions grouped in the CGT; unions confederated at the national level, and that we had a mandate through the different endorsements presented to carry out this process; to normalize the 62 Peronist union organizations,” he added.
“We understood that having the mandate expired in December 2023, it was a time to work and normalize one of the most important instruments that we have in a difficult moment to do politics,” added the interviewee.
“This organization defines itself as the arm of the labor movement, which was born in 57, 58, when the disastrous government of that time, by a decree, annulled the participation of the CGT unions in the political life of the Argentines. It is one of the oldest organizations in our country,” he said.
Asked if the textile and trade sectors are part of the organization, Pablo Boschi said: “If there is something transparent in the labor movement, it is precisely when this time of normalization and organization is called,” he stressed, adding that: “we are in the presence of more than fifty vouchers; then it speaks for itself that there is a large majority that was in agreement,” he pointed out.
In turn, he said: “It can happen with those unions that sometimes do not agree, do not share the methodology of the assembly, do not share the list; all this is part of the discussion and it is very good because it occurs in a democratic framework and with a lot of transparency,” he stressed.
“Every time this type of normalization was done, it was done in a theater; this time it was done in the Valentín Barros Cultural Theater of the metalworkers and there they could have perfectly raised their hand because no one is sanctioned the right to say; yes, we agree, or if there is an alternative list,” Boschi sentenced.

“And this process was strongly raised in the last plenary of the CGT Matanza, I insist, the figure of the general secretary proposing that until the 29th of this month the different proposals were presented that there should even be work proposals,” the general secretary detailed.
Pablo Boschi elaborated further on the subject, pointing out that: “In fact, the person speaking to you made a five-point proposal for the next four years, and from that moment on one becomes a candidate,” emphasizing that: “If there are transparent facts in the democratic life of Argentines, they are the unions, they are elected, they are voted,” he admitted.
“In this case there was only one presentation; a unity list which was proclaimed because there was no second list.” Then there are issues that are internal; I am one of those who speak the least in the media about internal issues because it does not contribute precisely to the framework of unity,” he declared.
In the framework of the situation that the country is going through, he also spoke about a possible unity: “There are sectors that have called me the day after and at this time to make ourselves available” adding that: “although we do not have certain points in common, we all want the unity of the labor movement.”
He also added: “If we need something, it is precisely the unity of the workers to somehow stand in a position and begin to say those things that have not gone well for us and begin to synthesize a common idea; where we have to give the defenses of the conquests, the rights and all the agreements that in some way there is a model in execution today that comes from these conquests and these rights.” He pointed out.
“At some point we all need to come together, it is not a question of why responsibility now demands us, yes of course, but that falls on each one of the leaders,” adding: “Whoever is speaking to you since 1997 I have been participating in all the labor unions and in all the processes that occur naturally” he said.
The Unity
During the development of the interview, Boschi recalled about an appeal, of which he expressed: “At the national level of the CGT, a long time ago we had to appeal to a triumvir and we could not disaffect and never again in the search for a single figure that synthesizes a collegiate body and that synthesizes precisely in the framework of unity.”
“We achieved it in the CGT Matanza, in the 62 organizations as well and I believe that we are on the way to unifying these criteria and those that They do not agree, we have points in common, which are precisely the defense of rights and achievements,” said the interviewee.
