The former deputy of the Left Front, Romina Del Plá, spoke on the air of the program about the measures that obtained partial sanction in the Chamber of Deputies, such as the budget for universities and the official proposal of essentiality of the educational service.
The measure was approved in the Chamber of Deputies, in a session of more than 20 hours; a measure that limits the right to strike of teachers. And the sanction of legislators who visited former genocides in prison was rejected by one vote.
“The opposition, both in favor of dialogue and not in favor of dialogue, gave the Government a very calm session in which the expulsion of the Deputies who visited the genocides should have been discussed,” Del Plá began in a critical tone.
And he added that the Government “had help in a measure tinged with a lot of demagogy, which reinforces the persecution by the data bank and is not a brake on the impunity of sexual crimes.”
Returning to the educational issue, he stressed: “If you look at the vote on the essentiality of education, it was approved by 95 votes. There are several from the block of Union for the Fatherland who voted in favor and others were absent”
And he added in that sense that “it means that the attack on teaching is not only from La Libertad Avanza or Javier Milei, but that it has a very important support”
“All the Governments emptied the educational system”
Then, Del Plá, expanded his discharge in the same sense: “All those who passed through the Government of the different political signs are responsible for the educational emptying, of making arbitrary changes in education”
And he encouraged that “teachers have to go out to oppose that story, as if it were that the problems in education are the fault of teachers”
In turn, he recalled that the Law of essentiality in education is a completely unconstitutional measure, it is already covered in the DNU 70 and has precautionary measures against it.
“They are measures that are difficult to sustain judicially. Even if the Law were approved, it would have to be overturned by a court ruling,” she said in this regard.
“They are trying to discourage the measures of struggle”
Then, in a similarity of the Law with the Anti-picket protocol of Patricia Bullrich, Del Plá considered that “the need to organize ourselves and go out to fight cannot be regulated by the State”
And she vehemently recalled the historical journey in the protest measures: “The struggle precedes the laws. Let us remember that the right to strike is constitutional, but before, since the workers were constituted
as a class, they went on strike and they were illegal.”
“The right to organize, to force measures and the instrument of organizing ourselves and fighting to put a stop to the measures of the employers and the governments have made their way,” she added.
“What are they doing with the money for education?”
When analyzing the measure that pressures the directors to pass a presence of those who joined the strike, the leader responded that “it is based on a lie that the schools are closed. They always open and there are teachers who do not adhere to it.”
And she said that “they put them as obstacles to try to dissuade the measures of struggle. I think that the problem is that the Government has to stop defunding education and the educational structure.”
On that point, Del Plá warned: “They closed the Fonid and are under-executing the national education budget. The money allocated is not being spent on infrastructure, nor on ESI, nor on scholarships.”
“What are they doing with that money? Surely diverting it to the SIDE or to the trips abroad that the president makes, most of which are necessary and unjustified,” she launched with impetus.
“We must organize to defeat the Government’s plan”
To conclude, the former legislator stressed: “It is clear that the “there is no money” is for education, health and retirees, for the rest of the deals there is money in bulk and that is why all sectors of the employers applaud Milei’s measures.”
