Insúa takes over in Barracas? Is Reali leaving Ciclón? and Gimnasia recovers the 10

Reali

Rubén Darío Insua left San Lorenzo in a controversial way and, a little more than four months after his exodus, he appears on the radar of Barracas Central, to be its new coach and have the possibility of coinciding with his son Rodrigo.

The Gallego is in talks with the Barracas institution, which he will see at every opportunity when he plays at home to see his offspring in action either at Tomás A. Ducó or at the Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia stadium as happened in 2023 (a venue currently under renovation).

This would not be the first time that Insua has the opportunity to direct one of his sons since he knew how to count on Robertino (the oldest of the three) both in Barcelona of Ecuador and also in LDU Portoviejo. If he takes over, Gallego could find himself with players from Boedo, since in the last few hours it was announced that Guapo would be interested in adding on loan both Nahuel “Perrito” Barrios (who had the best level of his career with Insua, to the point that he earned the number 10 of the Cyclone) as well as Facundo Bruera, who arrived a few weeks ago and seems to be relegated in Romagnoli’s consideration. Cruzeiro sought Reali and San Lorenzo set a price for him
Matías Reali arrived at San Lorenzo just over two months ago and his cycle in Boedo could come to an end as Cruzeiro set its sights on the spicy winger who had a great series against Atlético Mineiro in the round of 16 of the 2024 Copa Libertadores.

The former Independiente Rivadavia player who emerged from Gimnasia de La Plata sparked interest in Cabuloso, who eliminated Boca and wants the attacker who is about to turn 27 to try to compete thoroughly in the Copa Sudamericana and also in the Brasileirao, where he is currently in seventh place with 38 points.

However, the operation does not seem simple since at the first call from Belo Horizonte, Boedo responded with the price at which they quote Reali’s transfer: eight million US dollars.
San Lorenzo acquired the player in a turbulent negotiation with the Lepra from Mendoza, which due to a non-payment caused the final amount of the same to climb to two million dollars, due to a fine of 500 thousand for that delay in making a payment.

Gimnasia recovers one of its stars

In the middle of the transfer market and in an extraordinary sporting streak, good news continues to add up for Gimnasia. On this occasion, it is Pablo De Blasis, who overcame a simple knee operation and is already training alongside his teammates.

It should be remembered that the talented midfielder was operated on August 2 due to a torn meniscus and his recovery was quick within the initially estimated time. In this way, De Blasis can be taken into account for the match next Monday afternoon when the Lobo receives Argentinos Juniors. Meanwhile, Agustín Bolivar and Franco Troyanski continue to recover from injuries.

In addition, Matías Abaldo is in the orbit of the Uruguay National Team. The forward, world champion U20, was preselected for the double date of qualifiers by Marcelo Bielsa in view of the matches against Paraguay and Venezuela on Friday 6 and Tuesday 10 September, respectively.

Beyond the fact that he could have his first time in the Celeste, the call-up has yet to be confirmed while he would miss the Professional League match, which would be an uncomfortable loss for Marcelo Méndez but a pleasant representation for Gimnasia.
