Dancers and musicians from La Matanza will participate in the most important folk music and dance competition in Latin America, Pre Cosquín 2025.
A significant delegation of artists from La Matanza will take part in the Pre Cosquín festival. The representatives from the district, who have already traveled to Cosquín, Córdoba, were selected during three intense days that showcased the high artistic level in La Matanza.
The winners of this phase will have the opportunity to join the Night of the Winners, with the chance to participate in the National Folk Music Festival of Cosquín 2025.
The delegation from La Matanza consists of talented dancers and musicians who will represent the district in the most important folk music and dance competition in Latin America.
Pre Cosquín is open to young people and adults over 16 years old, who are passionate about music and dance. This New Talents competition aims to recognize artists from across the country, promoting the preservation of folk culture through its different expressions.
Every year, La Matanza participates as an official venue and has consistently delivered excellent performances in Cosquín. Thanks to the cultural policies promoted by the Municipality to foster artistic development and training across the district, La Matanza is now one of the most important delegations in the competition.
