Almirante Brown is making progress in the work prior to the start of the official season and that is why, from January 5 to 11, it will be in Rosario doing the most intense part of the preseason. Fabián Nardozza called up 30 players, among which some brand new signings stand out.
Mirasol has moved quite a bit in this last week and announced three reinforcements from teams in the Professional League. The first is Patricio Pizarro, a young central defender who arrives on loan for a year from Huracán. Something similar to what happened last year with Mauro Villar, who ended up playing little.
The other is the Colombian Diego Perea who comes from San Lorenzo on loan for two seasons. Wearing the Ciclón shirt, he made his debut in Primera in 2023 and his last stint was with Cúcuta Deportivo. The third is Joaquín Borja Velázquez, a 22-year-old midfielder who was left with the pass in his possession after leaving Deportivo Riestra.
In addition, goalkeeper Bruno Galván arrived after recently passing through Atlanta. As for losses, defender Facundo Miño was loaned to Malevo, without a purchase option but with the possibility of showing himself in the elite of Argentine soccer.
Laferrere’s preseason
Lafe is another of those who works hard in the summer and, starting on January 2, he began work at the Doctor Néstor Sánchez Sports Center. The club confirmed that on January 12, the physical and tactical preparation will take place at the Luz y Fuerza Union Complex in Virrey del Pino.
Meanwhile, new faces continue to appear for Pablo Nieva, such as Leandro Benites, a 27-year-old left back who stood out at Deportivo Paraguayo; Federico Real, a right back from San Miguel; Bruno Báez, a forward from Colegiales; and Juan Rois Esteberena, a young goalkeeper who arrives from Almirante.
Meanwhile, Villero reported that Fernando Ortiz will join training next Monday. After having received proposals from other categories, Paty will finally stay one more season at the institution.
More reinforcements in Italiano and Liniers
In the rest of the Matanzas teams there are also news. On the part of Sportivo Italiano, they accelerated and closed five footballers who are already part of Jesús Díaz’s squad. Before closing 2024, Lionel Laborda put the hook. The playmaker from Midland signed until December 2025.
In recent days, Tano made official the arrivals of right back Emilio Porro, defender Emilio Mayola, both also from Midland, and goalkeepers Federico Diaz and Gonzalo Yordan. They all join Ariel Torres, Santiago Palacio, Marcos Landaburu, Pablo Despósito, Alejo Daivez and Emanuel Díaz.
On the Liniers side, the first reinforcements of 2025 are three. Alex Penoni joined from Puerto Nuevo, Lautaro Calo Tizon from Deportivo Rincón de Neuquén, who comes from playing in the Torneo Federal A, and Ezequiel Bulacio recently passed through Central Ballester. Diego Guallama and Cristián Chávez had previously been presented.
New kit for Deportivo Paraguayo
With the good news that it will continue to play in AFA tournaments, the organization decided to stop the disaffiliation, Guaraní began to think about what is coming and, for now, has new kit that will be worn in 2025.
As reported by the club, the signing of the agreement with the company JEMA was completed, under the motto “We motivate your attitude.” President Abel Cárdenas, the Secretary of Sports, Maximiliano Masoni, and two members of the Board of Directors, Anibal Vargas and Gregorio Ramírez, were part of the signing.
