Two of them are Ayelén and Vanesa, young women aged 14 and 28 who appeared dead in the Matanza River. One of his subordinates was the father of a police commissioner.
The Departmental Investigations Directorate (DDI) of La Matanza captured during this weekend one of the most feared drug traffickers of the town of Gregorio de Laferrere and who would have at least 20 murders in his record, two of them being those of Ayelén Benítez and Vanesa Lachmañuk in the Matanza River in September of this year.
His arrest began to take shape on November 24 at the “Teresa Luisa Germani” Maternal and Child Hospital, when a man named Brítez was admitted with gunshot wounds and refused to give information about what had happened to him, so the detectives decided to follow his trail once he was discharged.
Thus they discovered that the subject was one of the soldiers of a gang known as “Los Narcos de Calderón” and that his injuries were caused because he tried to sell drugs on his own. In reality, his destiny was to be killed, but luckily he escaped.
Thanks to the work of prosecutors Fernando Garate and Fernando López, they were able to identify five addresses that were raided this Friday. In three of them the result was negative, although in those located on Juan Francisco Echaurri Street (González Catán city) and Risso Patrón (Don Juan neighborhood) they found “Pancuca”, the taxi driver (who is the father of a commissioner of the Buenos Aires Police) and a woman, putting them all behind bars.
Meanwhile, the agents also seized thousands of doses of marijuana and cocaine paste, precision scales, two cell phones, cash, a provincial force vest, the Renault Clío used to take Brítez to the Laferrense medical center, six pistols, two shotguns, chargers and ammunition.
