During this season, Tévez played 36 matches, scored one goal, and displayed an outstanding level of performance in defense, where he can perform multiple roles. Although he played most of the year as a second central defender, he is also capable of playing as a first-choice center-back or as a right-back, thanks to his technique and ball-handling abilities.
Since his debut in 2021, the 25-year-old leader of Quilmes has played 69 matches, 62 of them as a starter, and scored three goals. He has also received 14 yellow cards and two red cards.
Javier García departs Boca and his teammates bid him farewell on social media

San Lorenzo sold two youth players to settle debts with the squad
Amid an internal crisis due to delayed payments to the squad, San Lorenzo confirmed the sale of two players to Defensa y Justicia for $1.5 million to settle debts and ensure they are “up to date,” although this will not resolve all urgent financial issues.
Santiago Sosa and Agustín Hausch will move from San Lorenzo to Defensa y Justicia for a total of $1.5 million—$1.2 million for Sosa and $300,000 for Hausch—representing half of each player’s rights. Notably, Sosa played 20 matches for San Lorenzo, while Hausch made 14 appearances.
After the confirmation of the two sales, the players met with the president, who informed them that they would receive payment for the debts up to October, which, according to regulations, is considered “up to date” by the Professional Football League. As for bonuses, only some will be paid, not all players will receive theirs.
