At the beginning of the note on No Te Duermas, Viviana Oscari spoke about thesmall march they carried out: “The idea was to cut off in general throughout the country but our reality continues to be in the historic place of La Matanza. It was a mobilization with occupation of Route 3. It was for an indefinite period and then we
understood that the idea is to go through small cuts towards what will be the federal march that will arrive in Buenos Aires on December 5.”
“We are going for the Matanzazo, the idea is to have occupation and not cuts of the route. Occupation is that, as people join, you occupy a little more of the road, first the sidewalk and then the road. At some point there would have to be a similar cut because we understand that there will be around 5,000 people on Route 3,”
she added.
Regarding this, she pointed out that “what happens is that there are protocols that sometimes prevent you from being able to carry out this type of thing” and that “the idea is to be able to have visibility of what the comrades of the popular economy are going through.”

Then, the interviewee said: “We have been demanding for three months the increase of the complementary social salary that has now been doubled in ‘Return to work’. We demand the increase because it remains at $79,000 and we ask that it be raised to $200,000, which is half of the basic basket.”
“We continue in the same jobs, the name has changed but we continue in the same. What they do is like the lie of the soup kitchens, who say they are going to investigate and then find nothing. They say they are going to regularize the cooperatives, according to them they do, in these two new plans but there is nothing,” he added.
In addition, he emphasized the government policies and mentioned that “at the time Macri tried to do that but it was null because there are no companies” and that “the last thing Pettovello did was to say what they were going to do with Rappi so that some colleagues would go to work there with the deliveries.”
“But then they keep saying things, after things, and we always end up in the same places. The colleagues continue to fulfill the four hours of compensation that exist,” he indicated.

Criticism of the government and support for retirees In the final part of the interview, the representative of Somos Barrios de Pie insisted on a strong mobilization in La Matanza: “This government comes out with
lie after lie and that is why we, as we are heading towards the Matanzazo and the occupation of Route 3, understand that there are a lot of things that this government has already surpassed the limits and even has no limits. It has no scruples, it does not care about people at all, not even a little.”
“With retirees it is something that cannot be believed. I admire them because they are the first ones to go out and they are the ones who endure the most because they are constantly being gassed, beaten and they go every Wednesday to that concentration that they do,” she added.
To conclude, she said that “at first we thought that the blockade could become something annoying but the reality is that it is not, because people pass by and support us” and that “if we make pots, they come to look for food.
“When you concentrate and you go unconcentrated, what Bullrich’s protocol does is go out to hunt you down. But people still want to go and claim what is due to them,” he concluded.
