The journalist Juan Paulenko, in his weekly column, together with the hosts of the program, analyzed the political agenda of the Buenos Aires suburbs and the collective bargaining agreements negotiated by some state unions.

One of the agreements was that of the bank workers, who achieved an agreement of four percent retroactive for the months of June, July and August, to be paid in the month of September.

Regarding this agreement, Paulenko mentioned: “If some see it was the Truckers union, now it is the bank workers who lead the list of good salary agreements.”

And he added to the analysis that currently the bank workers “are beating inflation.
Today the average salary of a banker is one million one hundred thousand pesos, above the family basket that is at 900 thousand.”

This salary is much higher than that of other state employees, such as municipal employees. “In some municipalities they pay 300 thousand pesos per month to their employees”

In addition, Paulenko recalled that “beyond the Christmas bonus, they have a bonus that is one more salary per year, it is for the participation in the profits of the banks. It is like the SUTNA workers, the tire union, received at some point.”

IOMA signed increases for clinics and hospitals

“Another good news,” Paulenko recapitulated, was that “the board of IOMA has already signed its agreement to give an increase to the clinics, with respect to the benefit. 90 percent for surgeries and operating rooms. And 248 percent for medical consultations, both regular and why not complex.”

And about the interpretation that Kappeler made, that “Kicillof is trying to cover the holes left by the national government,” Paulenko responded: “That is how it is. Like the Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis, who already said ‘we will take charge of all the works that the national government does not do’”.

Salary agreement for municipal workers in 3 de febrero

When returning to the agenda of salary agreements, the columnist of the program reviewed “an agreement signed between the mayor Diego Valenzuela and the general secretary of the union of municipal workers of 3 de febrero. Ten percent to be paid right now, in the first days of September for what concerns August’

And he added that “they also touched up the subject of titles a bit. For example, that worker who has a secondary education will receive 15 thousand pesos, the one who has a tertiary education 30 thousand and the one who has a university education 40 thousand pesos”.
In comparison with the municipal workers of La Matanza, Paulenko considered that “Matanza is in a red zone, sad. Morón, 3 de febrero and Ituzaingó are paying better than La Matanza”.

“Every time the municipal authorities want to negotiate with Espinoza and his economic team, they respond ‘guys, don’t keep bothering us because if not, we will have to start firing people,’” he said.

Investments for housing in La Matanza

Finally, the journalist reported: “More than ten billion pesos from the provincial social integration agency will finance the ‘Peribebuy 2’ plan, which will benefit some eleven thousand families in La Matanza. From Isidro Casanova and Laferrere.”

And he explained that “these works will go to housing, businesses, sidewalks, lighting and cleaning. It will benefit residents of Villa San Petersburg, Puerta de Hierro and 17 de marzo. The priority is for the cooperatives, so it is with local labor.”
“This is betting on La Matanza. And if you allow me, betting on 2027, Kicillof wants to be a candidate and for that a whole series of actions to show good news and good management,” Paulenko deepened in the political analysis.
Regarding the Peronist groups within, Paulenko said that “the best thing today would be a unity both in La Matanza and in the province, but it is difficult.”
