The mayor of Escobar, Ariel Sujarchuk, opened the regular sessions of the Honorable Deliberative Council at an event held at the Belén de Escobar Floral Park in front of more than 4,000 residents. There, the mayor reaffirmed his commitment to “transforming realities from the present, because the future is now” and presented more than 60 key proposals focused on infrastructure, security, health, education, and economic development.
Among the most notable announcements was the confirmation of a multimillion-dollar investment in the security system, which includes the commissioning of the Municipal Police this Thursday. Additionally, the opening of the municipal maternity ward at the Bicentennial Hospital was announced, along with the renovation of 1,000 streets and the installation of 18,500 LED lights to modernize public lighting by 2027.
Furthermore, Sujarchuk assured that the Municipality has obtained a risk rating that allows it to issue bonds and that the use of this instrument to finance public works is being evaluated.
Sujarchuk began by announcing the creation of a new chatbot and the simplification of tax and health procedures through new technologies with Artificial Intelligence.
“We will be one of the first municipalities in Argentina to have Digital Citizenship, with facial recognition, with traceability of all personal data, thus making life simpler… There must be a State policy that guarantees a modern Escobar for all our citizens and that it is a city of the future,” stated the mayor.
