The municipality acquired eight wheel loaders, three backhoes, and a wheel loader with a hammer, which will be used to perform tasks such as trenching, cleaning, and weeding, essential for daily work in each neighborhood.

With its own funds, and with the aim of providing a better quality of life for all residents, the municipality of Tigre added new machinery that will serve to optimize public services. Among other things, eight wheel loaders, three backhoes (one with a hammer), and a mini-loader with a hammer were acquired.

Mayor Julio Zamora accompanied the commissioning of the brand new equipment and spoke with the machinists, who participated in training provided by the supplier Americanvial, with the goal of learning all its functions.

“This is a municipal acquisition aimed at keeping the entire fleet of vehicles and machinery up-to-date, which is essential to providing better service to the residents of Tigre,” said the mayor. He also specified that “this new machinery will optimize essential tasks that the local government performs daily, such as ditching, cleaning, and weeding. In addition, it has GPS, which makes it possible to monitor its location and operation in real time, improving the efficiency of public service in the district.”

He also emphasized that “municipal employees received training on the proper use of this equipment, with the goal of ensuring its proper handling and maintenance. It is important to remember that this is an asset that belongs to the entire community, so its care is essential.”

He also stated that “although they may seem like minor tasks, these tasks are essential and require machinery in optimal condition.” In this regard, Zamora warned that “over time, equipment wears out, becomes outdated, and can become dangerous to use. Therefore, this investment represents a great advance in terms of safety and efficiency to continue providing better service to residents.”
